Patient Pet

If you've seen the dynamic graphics for NFL football games that indicate the current location of the first down, the red zone, and the line of scrimmage, then you've gotten a taste of Augmented Reality. AR is about to make a far greater impact, with innovations across the software development industry, for an entire range of applications. Apple and Android have introduced ARKit and ARCore, their platforms for AR development, opening up the availability of AR experiences through a smartphone or tablet. To prepare for the new wave of Augmented Reality applications, developers of AR eyewear are offering users even more options for this immersive and interactive 3D interface. Augmented Reality is going to affect everything from how you learn to operate equipment, to apps that enhance concerts and sporting events, to applications that help you care for your beloved pets. DDA is a leading developer of Augmented Reality apps, and we believe an AR app that enhances your understanding of your pet's health and its real time status, equips you with tools to diagnose problems early, gives graphic instructions for grooming and routine health examinations, and enables you to stay on top of problems early before you need to see a vet, would be an innovative, helpful tool for any pet owner.
Need
For many of our aging pets, chronic health issues occur, and Augmented Reality apps can provide pet owners with ways to use their mobile device to routinely evaluate their pet, look for problems from behavioral, dietary, or other clues, and rely on an advanced level of telemedicine for their best friend, be it dog, cat, parrot, or iguana. Other pets may require vigilant attention for pregnancy or other reasons, and AR apps can help keep an eye on your pet and link you to a vet quickly. DDA's Patient Pet puts together a comprehensive and integrated pet emergency response system that can help you take better care for a pet in their vulnerable years.
Benefit
Patient Pet will provide peace of mind to owners of old or sickly animals who want to keep them at their best. As a companion to Pet Professor, Patient Pet is geared towards owners more likely to need the ongoing attention of a professional veterinarian who want to maintain a dynamic link with the best care possible.
Concept
Pet emergency response telemedicine
As the owner's side of early diagnostics, a veterinary app directed at the concerned pet owner can offer a range of tools to track their pet, scan it for problems with their iPhone, and log the results in with a professional veterinarian. This app could reduce the number of times you need to visit the vet, while providing a vet with the tools to help their clients and their pets for a more dynamic and responsive level of care. Instead of requiring a number of visits, app users can send detailed updates to vets with video information and diagnostic graphics. Vets can review the results online and respond with detailed prescription or other instructions. Patient Pet can then take owners through the instructions, often with graphics layered directly over your pet. Augmented Reality can layer many types of graphics into any scenario where operational instructions interact with the real world. In the near future, Augmented Reality will be able to display interactive x-ray, ultrasound, and MRI types of data dynamically layered over your pets to see what's going on inside.
DDA is one of the most experienced medical Augmented Reality app companies anywhere, with a level of expertise and innovation that is well known in the industry. We developed our first AR project in 2009, and in 2012, DDA received the Tabby Award for the Best Healthcare iPad App of the year. We are located just outside of Philadelphia for easy access, and we'd be pleased to set up a time to talk about the future of Augmented Reality for your clinic hospital or business. DDA takes a serious approach to innovation, and whether the project requires extensive database management, eLearning and certification programs, 3D computer modeling and animation, graphic design and multimedia production, or any type of custom software design and programming, DDA is prepared to do it all in house. By developing a comprehensive skill set, DDA 's team of experienced professionals avoids outsourcing to keep production costs under control and maintain excellent communication with our clients during the process, while delivering a flawless and engaging end user experience across every platform and to every device.
